Feature a series of pins cut to extend from the end of one board to interlock with a series of tails cut into the end of another board. Once glued, a wooden dovetail joint requires no mechanical fasteners.
Doweled construction offers good quality at a very affordable price. Another benefit is that doweled drawer boxes can be flat-packed for easy shipping and on-site assembly.

Corona Millworks can construct drawer boxes that are notched, drilled, and clipped for the installation of undermount drawer slides. We carry adjustable and standard clips from Hettich, Blum, Salice, and Grass. Matching slides are also available (including soft close options).
To calculate Outside Drawer Width, first determine Drawer Opening size and Drawer Side Thickness. Use Thickness to look-up Subtraction Factor on chart below. Then simply subtract Subtraction Factor from Drawer Opening size.

For Example: If you have an 18″ Drawer Opening with a Side Thickness of 5/8″, the Subtraction Factor is 3/8″. So in this case to calculate the outside drawer width the formula is: 18″ – 3/8″ = 17-5/8″.
Corona Millworks Tolerances are as follows: Width 1/32″ (+/-), Depth 1/16″ (+/-), and Height 1/16″ (+/-).
Most drawer box manufactures only offer 2 different drawer front scoop styles. Corona Millworks believes that’s not enough, so we offer 6 different style options for you to choose from. Scoops act as pullouts for drawer boxes which allow for easy access.
Scoops are centered on the front of the drawer box.
Give the lasting impression of a completely custom drawer box by leaving a signature of your craftsmanship with your company’s logo. Drawer boxes can be uniquely created with different material options. For the best results Corona Millworks recommends laser engraving on alder, cherry, maple, red birch & walnut wood types.

Keep all your paperwork and important files tucked away nice and neat in a Corona Millworks file drawer box. Our file boxes are available with file folder rails mounted to hang file folders parallel to the length, or width of the box.

The slots for the file bars are placed on the front & back of the drawer box making them run the depth of the drawer box.
Lateral Files
The slots for the file bars are placed on the sides of the drawer box making them run the width of the drawer box.
Pull Out Trash Bins from Corona Millworks keep garbage out of sight and save floor space. The crafted drawer mounted on the inside of the cabinet allows the trash bins to slide out when the door is opened for easy operation. Multiple trash bins allow for sorting of trash and recyclables.
